Bag-Valve-Mask (BVM) resuscitators
In an emergency situation time is vital, there is no opportunity to check patient history and expensive re-usable equipment can often become contaminated. To avoid cross infection from blood, vomit and secretions we offer a complete range of single-use BVM resuscitators for use in resuscitation and emergency care.

Pressure manometer
A Bag-Valve-Mask (BVM) resuscitator, or manual resuscitator, is a handheld, self-inflating device used to provide positive pressure ventilation to patients with inadequate or no breathing. It comprises a mask, one-way valve, and a re-expanding bag, often connected to an oxygen reservoir to deliver high-concentration oxygen (up to 100%) during emergencies, CPR, or pre-hospital transport.
Self-Inflating Bag: Constructed from flexible, often textured plastic (PVC or silicone) that automatically re-expands after being squeezed, allowing for rapid, sequential breaths.Non-Rebreathing Valve: Directs oxygen into the patient’s airway and prevents exhaled, \(CO_{2}\)-rich gas from re-entering the bag.Face Mask: A transparent mask that forms an airtight seal over the patient’s nose and mouth.Oxygen Reservoir/Tubing: Connected to an external oxygen source (e.g., cylinder) to deliver high-flow, high-concentration oxygen.Standard Connector: A 15mm or 22mm connector, allowing attachment to face masks, endotracheal tubes, or supraglottic airway devices.Optional Features: Many units include pressure-relief valves (typically 40 \(cm\ H_{2}O\)) to prevent barotrauma, as well as PEEP (Positive End-Expiratory Pressure) valves.
