Polymaille Extra Thin
polymaille® extra thin devices are uniform straight tubular vascular grafts made of knitted polyester impregnated with type I bovine collagen. They are available with SHR® reinforcement (codes PMETR) or without SHR® reinforcement (codes PMET).
polymaille ® extra thin vascular prostheses have a particularly thin wall thickness (around 0.32 mm)
The non-cuttable radial reinforcement made with SHR® (Stretch Helicolial Reinforcement) technology, guarantees improved resistance to external compression. The helicoidal form adapts to the embossing on the graft and thus has a “stretch” effect on the reinforced portion, guaranteeing improved kink resistance.
polymaille® extra thin vascular grafts are available in different sizes (diameter and length) to adapt to patients’ anatomical characteristics (please refer to the characteristics below).
Extra Thin wall < 0,4 mm for a better anastomosis. This thinness make the prosthesis more flexible and conformable
Available with SHR (Stretch Helicoidale Reinforcement) in order to improve protection from external compression
Warp locknit structure to avoid fraying when cutting
Without carcinogenic agents
Type 1 bovine collagen
No formaldehyde nor glutaraldehyde included during manufacturing
